The Locust Point Community Garden is a cherished resource in our community, it provides a space for residents to come together, grow their own food, and learn about the importance of environmental stewardship.  Also, it is one of the last green spaces around Baltimore’s harbor. Under Armour has decided to sell the garden space to a developer which would essentially “pave over” our garden.  We are asking UA to work with us to find a way forward to designate this area as a garden and community green space.  As an example, Coca-Cola did this when they donated the property for our little league field.  Please sign our petition and show that we value our green space, like more than 1,550 of you neighbors have.

Also, please send the petition on to all who value green spaces and gardens.

SOuth BmOre.com All Things South Baltimore features the LPCG and the Mural New Mural Now Facing Locust Point Community Garden

The peninsula’s largest community garden continues to grow in members, plots, and enthusiasm as the 2022 season comes to an end.

Members gathered on August 26 at the garden to celebrate the season with a potluck picnic. The feast included salsa made with several ingredients from the garden.
